AMP Purpose Statement

An AMP Purpose Statement should:

• Specify and document how and what asset data is collected, and how it is stored and disseminated;
• Demonstrate responsible management;
• Comply with regulatory requirements;
• Communicate and justify funding requirements;
• Identify to Council officers, their duties and responsibilities for the Management Budget operation and maintenance of the various asset types.
