An "As Constructed Drawing" or "As Constructed Plan" is an engineering drawing detailing exactly how a asset or a facility was constructed. These drawings are also known as "As Built Drawings" and simply "As Cons".
Designs are sometimes modified during a project, and if this happens the original design drawings are not a true representation of the final layout of the asset or facility. An As Constructed Drawing takes into account of any in-project changes and is a true representation of what was built.
An "As Constructed" stamp is typically placed on the drawing so it can be quickly and easily distinguished from a design drawing. In the above example the stamp is a red box containing the words "As Constructed Plan".
