Asset Deterioration Photos

Knowing how the appearance of assets changes over time should help determine a more accurate picture of the relationship between visual condition inspection scores and asset remaining useful life. This page has been set up to document how the appearance of particular assets changes over time. It will be a long term project that will hopefully bear fruit over time.

Inter-Council Collaboration

Obviously compiling a complete set of asset deterioration photos from scratch for long-lived assets will take a very long time. Hopefully most Councils have a few historical asset photos that can be used to illustrate how particular asset type has deteriorated over time, and that if we pool our resources we can cover a wider range of asset types.
