Asset Location Techniques

Before an asset can be mapped its geographical position needs to be determined. There are a number of techniques for doing this, including;

• Aerial Mapping / Aerial Photography
• GPS
• 3D Street Level Imagery
• Traditional survey methods; such as distance and offset surveys, and theodolite based surveys.
