Asset Management Vision

An Asset Management Vision is simply a Council's (or any other organisation's) vision for asset management.

An Asset Management Policy typically contains an Asset Management Vision, and the NAMAF suggests that "Councils should adopt an Asset Management Policy which defines the Council’s vision and service delivery objectives for asset management".

LGAM Asset Management Vision

  1. To meet the community's needs by managing our assets in the most cost effective, sustainable, transparent and fair way possible.
  2. To develop a culture where all asset management related knowledge is freely, openly and enthusiastically shared; both internally within Council, and externally with other Councils, in order to reduce duplication of effort within our Council and across the Local Government sector as a whole.
