The above photo is of a road with a brick paver wearing course in poor condition. There has been a (largely unsuccessful attempt) to improve its condition by patching it with premix or asphalt.
The photo was taken in Bargara Lakes Drive in Bargara on 10 August 2010, and has been released to the public domain by its creator. (Wayne Eddy)
The road is actually relatively new, and this may be an indicator that brick pavers aren't the best wearing course option for a road!
