- A list of objectives
- An organisational structure / organisational chart
- A list of programs, activities & services
- A description of the current business environment
- A list of legislation, standards and policies that effect the business
- A client stakeholder analysis
- A SWOT Analysis
- A service priority classification
- A risk analysis
- A financial analysis
- An action plan
If the business plan is being prepared for a department or section within a larger organisation, an explanation of how the plan fits in with the broader organisation's business plan would also be included.
