Capacity Upgrade

Replacing an existing asset with an new asset that is better, bigger, or more powerful is considered to be an upgrade.

Examples

• Replacing a pool liner while increasing the size of the pool (and hence the liner).
• Replacing a section of currently installed sewer pipe with a pipe of larger diameter
• Replacing a motor in a water treatment plant with a motor of larger size.
