Council Reserve

A Municipal Reserve (also Council Reserve) is a crown land reserve vested in a particular municipality.

Victoria

In Victoria crown land reserves can be vested in a municipality under Section 16 of the Victorian Crown Land (Reserves) Act 1978.

The Naming Rules for Places in Victoria state that Councils are the naming authorities for municipal reserves.
