Division of Local Government

The Division of Local Government (DLG) was the name of the state agency responsible for local government across New South Wales. Its role was to provide a clear policy and legislative foundation to local government in NSW so councils are able to deliver quality services to their communities in a sustainable manner.

The Division of Local Government is now known as the Office of Local Government.
