The site's photo library has just got a big boost. with Austroads agreeing to allow photos extracted from "A Guide to the Visual Assessment of Pavement Condition" to be re-used on the site as long as they are correctly attributed, and Assetic donating quite a few asset condition photos to the cause as well.
Good work on getting these additional photos on the LGAM site.
This is a great contribution and I would like to personaaly acknowledge and thank AusRoads and Assetic.
My only comment (concern) is that they need captions to make (useful) sense of them.
This is probably a big task, but necessary so that this information can be used productively by others.
Hi Darron, I agree with you 100%.
There are two sections in the photo library; Themed Galleries & Contributor Galleries
My plan is to upload the raw un-captioned photos in to the contributor galleries, and then slowly create a special page for each photo before adding it to a themed gallery.
If you click on any photo in a themed gallery it will take you to the photo page.
I have only captioned up up a few of the Austroads photos so far, but I hope to eventually link to them all here.
