Future Party

The Future Party is a new Australian Political Party focused on improving the quality of life of the human race through technological developments, sourced through a scientific approach to knowledge in the context of democracy and peace.

The Future Party believes that the economy and government policy should be structured so as to maximise the development and adoption of technology wherever it is advantageous and safe to do so.

The Future Party’s goal is to help make Australia an advanced, technologically superior country with a high quality of life for all its citizens and residents.

LGAM and the Future Party

One of the unstated aims of the Local Government & Municipal Knowledge Base has always been to prove that technology can help us to share our knowledge and make the world a better place. I really believe that this is the case and that is an important part of the reason I created this site and have shared my knowledge with the local government community over the past seven years.

Those of you who know me personally probably won't be too surprised to learn that I'm a big fan of technology in general, and not just of wikis and knowledge sharing. What's more I believe that as a nation we aren't currently using technology to it's fullest potential to make everyone's life better, which is why when I discovered the Future Party, I thought I'd try to help them out.

I have run this site out of my own pocket for 7 years without a hint of an add, so I hope you won't mind me placing what looks a bit of an add above the side index. I also hope you might consider visiting the Future Party site and finding out a bit more about it.
