Government Information Licensing Framework

The Government Information Licensing Framework (GILF) is a Queensland Government framework set up to encourage the use and re-use of public sector information by:

• assisting information providers to make appropriate licensing decisions that enable the re-use of Public Sector Information (PSI) by the wider community
• reducing legal risk by identifying and protecting personal and other confidential information contained in PSI material
• assisting people using PSI to understand its lawful use
• making PSI searchable and accessible.
