Grazing of Livestock on Roadsides

Many rural Councils allow residents to graze livestock on Council roadsides. This practice both benefits graziers who get the benefit of additional fodder for their livestock, and the road authority as the practice helps manage roadside vegetation.

The grazier will typically need to apply to Council for a permit before grazing their livestock.
