Heavy Patching

Heavy Patching is the patching of relatively large section of a badly damaged or deformed road.

The first step in heavy patching is the removal of the remaining road surface, the underlying pavement is then pulverised, and strengthened with a binder. The pavement is then watered and re-compacted to and finally surfaced with a sprayed seal or asphalt.3
