Herbicide Spraying

Herbicide Spraying is a maintenance activity carried out by many Councils to remove grass and weeds from around obstacles, such as guide posts, road signs & guard rail that make roadside slashing impractical.

Herbicide is also sometimes applied to the edges of gravel pathways to reverse and or prevent the encroachment of grass onto the path.

Physical destruction of weeds via robot may be an alternative to herbicide spraying in the not-to-distant future (2)
