Indigo Shire Council

Indigo Shire Council is located in the north-eastern part of Victoria. It is named after the Indigo Valley and Indigo Creek. The shire takes in the towns of Beechworth, Chiltern and Rutherglen. It has an area of 2,070 square kilometres, and in 2006 it had a population of 14,800.
