Industrial Waste

Industrial Waste is the waste produced by industrial activity which includes any material that is rendered useless during a manufacturing process such as that of factories, mills, and mining operations.

Victorian Environment Protection Act 1970

The Victorian Environment Protection Act 1970 defines industrial waste as:

(a) any waste arising from commercial, industrial or trade activities or from laboratories; or
(b) any waste containing substances or materials which are potentially harm;
