Intangible Asset

An intangible asset is as an identifiable non-monetary asset without physical substance. Intangible assets are sometimes referred to as simple intangibles.

Examples of intangible assets include;

  • Software
  • Technology
  • Patents
  • Copyright
  • Customer lists
  • Franchises
  • Marketing Rights
  • Water Rights
  • Goodwill
