Kerb is a concrete or stone structure typically located at the edge of a road designed to act as a barrier to prevent vehicles from leaving the road carriageway.

Materials

The majority of kerb in Australia is constructed of concrete (both extruded or precast), but bluestone and asphalt can also be used.
