Kerb Extension
A kerb extension is a location at which the typical alignment of kerb is extended out towards the centre of the adjacent roadway:
A kerb extension may be used to:
- slow traffic by restricting carriageway width;
- help seperate a parking lane from adjacent traffic lanes;
- make it easier and safer for pedestrians to cross the adjacent road;
