Local Area Traffic Management (LATM) is the use of physical devices, streetscaping treatments and other measures (including regulations and other non-physical measures) to influence vehicle operation, in order to create safer and more liveable local street.

AMCORD

AMCORD defines 'local area traffic management' as "the process of planning and controlling the usage of streets within a local residential area to achieve goals, determined by affected parties, for the improvement of the residential environment.
