The Local Government & Municipal Knowledge Base's mission is to:

1. provide a place for council employees to find and share local government related knowledge and information.
2. convince visitors to the site that openly sharing knowledge & ideas and is good for individuals, Councils, Australia and the world, and that openly sharing knowledge & ideas is easy.
