Maintenance Service Level

Although the term "Maintenance Service Level" is used regularly within Local Government asset management circles, an authoritative definition is hard to find.

There are at least a couple of schools of thought on the subject.

1. That a maintenance service level is a service level associated with a maintenance activity, namely.
2. That a maintenance service level is a measure of a service delivered by a business unit responsible for maintenance.
3. That it is a synonym for Operational Service Level.
