National Local Government Twitter Day

The first of August is National Local Government Twitter Day.

Councils across the country join forces on social media to promote local government through National Local Government Twitter Day.

The Twitter Day aims to raise positive awareness of the value of local government by showcasing the diverse range of services undertaken by councils for the benefit of their communities.

To participate use the hashtag #YourRatesAtWork
