Pedestrian Crossing

A pedestrian crossing is a section of road marked with white stripes designed to afford pedestrians a safe place to cross.

Tactile Ground Surface Indicators are often placed adjacent to pedestrian crossings.


There are two signs associated with pedestrian crossings. The pedestrian crossing sign, and the pedestrian crossing ahead sign.
