Premix

Premix is a bituminous material used for repairing potholes in sealed roads. It is made by mixing aggregate (preferably dried) with fluxed and/or cutback bitumen by hand or in a mixing plant. It may be stored for several weeks or even months depending upon the amount and type of flux and cutter used. A bitumen emulsion of a suitable type may be used as the binder.
