Public Health and Wellbeing Planning
Public Health and Wellbeing Planning is planning for the creation of a local community in which people can achieve maximum health and wellbeing.
Victorian Local Government Councils must under Section 26 of the Victorian Public Health and Wellbeing Act 2008, and in consultation with the Secretary of the Victorian Department of Health, prepare a municipal public health and wellbeing plan within the period of 12 months after each general election of the Council.
