In Victoria, Recreational Facilities is one of nine specific performance areas that residents are asked about in the annual Local Government Community Satisfaction Survey. The survey considers sporting facilities, swimming pools, sports fields and playgrounds, arts centres and festivals, and library services to be recreational facilities.
