Road Base

Road Base (also base & base course) is a commonly used term to describe the upper-most layer of gravel/crushed rock in a road pavement.

Cement-Treated Base (CTB) is a type of road base that is mixed with cement. It is sometimes used in road construction as a subbase layer rewikidot.comrcing and protecting the subgrade.
