Road Verge
The road verge is that part of a road located on the immediate outside of the road shoulder. The verge typically terminates at the centre line of a table drain adjacent to the road if one exists.
AMCORD
AMCORD defines a verge as "that part of the street reserve between the carriageway and the boundary of adjacent lots (or other limit to street reserve). It may accommodate public utilities, footpaths, stormwater flows, street lighting poles and planting."
