Roads and Traffic Authority

The Roads and Traffic Authority (RTA) was the name of the New South Wales government agency responsible for major road infrastructure, licensing of drivers, and registration of motor vehicles, between 1989 and 2011.

It was replaced by Roads and Maritime Services in November 2011.
