SAMI Seal

A SAMI Seal is a type of sprayed seal. SAMI is an acronym for Strain Alleviating Membrane Interlayer.

Usage

SAMI seals are sometimes applied to a road surface prior to the surfacing the road pavement with asphalt to prevent the ingress of water into the road pavement and to resist fatigue cracking.
