Service Level Development

Service Level Development is the process of ascertaining of the most appropriate levels of service for a given service or a range of services.

In developing service levels a number of factors should be considered, including:

  • Customer expectations
  • Legislative requirements
  • Financial constraints
  • Resource availability

Development Process

  1. Document existing service levels
  2. Determine the cost of delivering the existing and alternate service levels
