Steel

Steel is an alloy of iron and one or more other elements. Carbon is the most common alloying material for iron, but various other alloying elements are used, such as manganese, chromium, vanadium, and tungsten.

Steel is widely used in the construction of many of the infrastructure assets owned by Councils.
