Stormwater Drain

A stormwater drain is an drainage channel, pipe, culvert or similar structure used to receive and transport stormwater.

In Queensland the Asset Management Advancement Program identifies stormwater drains as one of a number of "depreciating assets of significant value with long estimated useful lives" that need to be incorporated into Asset Management Plans.
