Stormwater Drainage
Stormwater Drainage is the process of, or infrastructure associated with the drainage of stormwater.
Purpose of Stormwater Drainage
- to provide residents of a municipality with an appropriate place to discharge excess rainwater;
- to keep other facilities such as roads, pathways, parks, usable in wet weather;
- to maintain access to properties during and after rainfall events;
- to minimise damage to public and private property during rainfall events.
