Strategic Resource Plan
A Strategic Resource Plan (SRP) is a plan of the resources required to achieve the strategic objectives.
Victoria
Section 126 of the Victorian Local Government Act 1989 mandates that;
- a Strategic Resource Plan must include in respect of at least the next 4 financial years-
- the standard statements describing the required financial resources in the form and containing the information required by the regulations;
- statements describing the required non-financial resources, including human resources.
- A Council must-
- review the Strategic Resource Plan during the preparation of the Council Plan; and
- adopt the Strategic Resource Plan not later than 30 June each year.
- A copy of the current Strategic Resource Plan must be available for inspection by the public at-
- the Council office and any district offices; and
- any other place required by the regulations.
