Tree Pit

A tree pit is a specially designed tree planting system that removes pollution from stormwater before it enters the stormwater system.

Tree pits are positioned adjacent to a road. They intercept stormwater runoff that would otherwise flow directly into the stormwater drains and on into natural waterways and/or the ocean.
