Waste and Recyclables Collection is the collection rubbish and recyclables from residences and other properties.

It includes:

Councils are typically responsible for waste and recyclables collection within their municipality.

Legislative Requirements

Section 24(g) of the Victorian Public Health and Wellbeing Act 2008 states that " ensuring that the municipal district is maintained in a clean and sanitary condition" is a council function.
