Work Order

A work order (or job card) is a hard copy document created when works are approved.

They are typically used to:

  1. confirm that the works have been approved and may proceed.
  2. detail the proposed extent of works.
  3. record the actual works carried out.

The details on a completed work order may be used to upload information into a business' corporate systems.

Work orders typically have a unique ID number known as a Work Order Number.
